Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Vantar Group LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“Corbel”, “we”) handles personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We are the controller for this data. Contact: hello@buildcorbel.com.

What we collect

• Server logs. When you open a page, the server records technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and the referring page. We need this to deliver the website and keep it secure.
• Email. When you write to us, we receive your email address, your name and what you write, including attachments such as a CV.

This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising, does not load third-party trackers, and has no contact forms. Fonts and images are served from our own server.

Why we use it and legal basis

• To run the website and keep it secure (server logs). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• To answer your message. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering, or steps before a contract if you ask about working with us (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• To review job applications. Legal basis: steps before an employment contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

How long we keep it

We keep server logs only as long as we need them for security. We keep emails as long as the conversation needs it. We delete job applications six months after we decide, unless you agree that we keep them longer.

Who receives it

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf, under contract. Some of them may process data outside your country, including in the USA. Where the GDPR applies, we use the safeguards the law requires, such as the EU standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to correct it, to delete it, to limit its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to hello@buildcorbel.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in the country where you live.

If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have similar rights to know, correct and delete your data. We do not sell or share personal data as those laws define it.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
